A blog is often a blend of the events in a person’s life and events on the Web, a kind of diary or tip site, although there are lots of different types of blogs.

Lots of people use services for blogging to make information search simply and accelerate the publishing process.

There are many different types of blogs, not only by the type of content, but also by the way that content is offered or written.

 

The personal blog is one of the most popular and common today. It is a diary or commentary of a person. Personal bloggers usually offer their personal information, feelings, emotions and commentary of events. Blogs often become a method of communication; they become a way to reflect life, and influence on the works of art. Celebrities and public people have blogs; some of their blogs rise to fame and find their reader. Some blogs give possibility for users to share thoughts and feelings with friends and family, and are much faster than using e -mail.

Corporate and organizational blogs are private and used for business purposes. Blogs are used internally to simplify communication and culture in the organization or externally for public relations.

Some blogs have a particular subject, such as political blogs, travelogs, fashion blogs, education blogs, music blogs etc.

By media type blogs can contain video – vlogs, links – linklogs, photo – photologs. Blogs with mixed media types are called tumblelogs.

What is blogging?

A blogging is a process of maintaining or adding content to a blog. A word blog was firstly used or invented by Peter Merholz, who shortened it from the word weblog. He broke the word weblog (that was coined by John Barger on 17 December 1997) into the phrase we blog. A weblog is a type of website or part of a website. A usual blog consists of entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. It can combine texts, images, and links to other blogs. A lot of blogs are interactive, that means they allow visitors to make comments and even  messages each other. It is the main point that makes difference between blogs from other static websites.
The modern blogging developed gradually from the online diary, where people kept a running account of their personal lives. One of the earliest bloggers is Justin Hall , who began personal blogging in 1994. Most bloggers consider themselves diarists or journalists. Online publishing that produces blogs rapidly gained in popularity. Since 2000, blogging has reached increasing significance and coverage for their role in breaking, shaping, and spinning news. A typical part of “blogging” nowadays is the use of browser-based software.

Blogging has a great political impact, many bloggers focused on producing and entering news with political aspect. Political candidates began using blogs as tools for outreach and opinion forming.
Many bloggers use scandals and gossips to increase the popularity of their blogs. They are not very credible. Greater credibility deserves blogs written by experts that announce the documents and present evidence and arguments in support of their view.Personal blogging is an ongoing diary or commentary written by an individual. Bloggers share thoughts and feelings or simply give detailed description of their lives.

There are many different types of blogs; the content determines what type of blog it is. Business blogs, personal blogs, classical music blogs, political blogs, travel blogs, news blogs, and mobile blogs –it depends on the genre, sphere, media or device.
